When my phone rings it doesn't recognise some numbers from the contacts list. Instead of giving me the name and photo, I just get the number displayed. A different number for the same contact, gives me their name and photo.
Any suggestions.

i noticed the same thing.....
Maybe it is because you have in your contact catalog callers info double time.
in that case, what you do is make all your numbers in international format with the + sign and country code. network code and mobile number
I've tried with and without the international prefix but it won't recognise the number. I've tried all combinations but can't get it to work.
By the way, does the phone only check the last 7 digits or something like that?
could be you have double entry... otherwise, try erasing all contacts and transfer them again.... might just be corrupted. never experience that on my phone
Problem solved! I did have the same number in twice. I had my home number in for me and my wife.
Thanks for the suggestions.

As far as I know, Yes. so if you have a friend who's got the same number on another network. It will only reflect the number and not your contact.
so if i have the same number for 2 contacts (say, they share the same home number), then it will only show the number? most other phones will show the name of the first contact it matches alphabetically. that's kinda lame
