AllAboutSymbian Gallery now has a Regular Photo Contest. Each fortnight a category will be selected and you upload photos from your phone to the Gallery. Winners Photo is displayed on Main Gallery page and selects next category.
[FONT=times new roman]Photo Contest Rules:-
* Anyone can enter the competition, just upload your photo to the Specified folder in the "Gallery/Photo Contest/(Current Fortnight)". Photos not in correct section will not be considered as an entry. Please also include your AAS Nick so we know who to contact if you win
* Entries that do not follow the Photo Contest Category will be deemed ineligiable for entry will be deleted. (i.e. the category is cars and a photo of a plane is entered)
* Photos must be taken with a Symbian Camera Phone (Nokia 3650, 6600, 7650, Samsung SGH D700, Sendo X, Siemens SX1, Motorola A920, Sony Ericsson P800, P900), and you may enter more than 1 photo
* The winning photo is decided in a poll and will list all the eligible entries. The polling will start on 31st (approx) of the month and should conclude on the 7th (approx) day of following month with results being sent to all members.
* Voting is by a single vote system Each member will get to vote in a Forum Poll for Winner. & Yes, you can vote for your own photo (if you think it's that good !!)
* In event of Tie, Previous Fortnights Winner will Choose a winner but will be unable to choose own entries.
* And No, you can't win a fancy car or a bundle of money... But, The winner determines the topic for the new contest. The winning photo will be on the Gallery index page until the next contest [/FONT]

Was a problem with the Gallery, I think where I renamed the contest file, was confusing it.
After a quick check on the Gallery home page Forum, I realised the only way was to delete the Contest file and rebuild, which I have completed.
If you had the "Error: Unable to make thumbnail (0)!" hopefully I have fixed this and I apologise.

I think it would be good to also have a Video contest or allow video to be included in this contest....
Well lets see how the photo contest goes first. We haven't even got to the first vote yet.
Are those photos from guaranteed really from a Symbian cameraphone? If so, which one is it because I want one of those.

Thanks for that have deleted them. After checking guaranteed's images the EXIF data confirmed they were taken on a (get this) Canon PowerShot G2 @1600x1200 on 08/Nov/2003.
Have now deleted them.

looking through the entries I thought it would be interesting if everyone put the phone name in aswell, might serve as a good way for comparing cameras in different situations with different photographers aswell.....
of course its quite clear which pic belong to 7650's due to the "everything getting sucked intot the middle effect" caused by the lens.
I was just browsing through them. Great pictures!! It'll be difficult to decide which one to vote for when the time comes...
And I agree, it would be a good idea if people included the info on what they took the photo with.
