Okay here goes, a friend of mine picked up his ngage last week and we hooked up last night to do some testing. I have filled a 128mb MMC with just games and music and leave it in most of the time. I have backed up my purchased games on the mmc, and have Pandamonium, tony hawks, tombraider and sonic all on one MMC plus about 1.5 hours of music. Anyway, Alex and I start doing some testing with 2 n-gages and little patience! first of all as default you have to enter the same password on both ngages to get a bluetooth connection. Once you have though things get cool. Sending picts. and the like is so easy and though not to fast the tech is clean and sinmple. After mastering the connection and testing the speed of bluetooth we decided to get busy and just play. We booted up Tony Hawks and were surprised how easy it was to get going!
The game recognized Alex' gage and we just had to choose who would host the game and what type we would like to play. Host, was Alex at first and I was able to join, I picked the track and game type and we started to skate. We picked tag and Chicago skate park and started to play. If you hae played the a game you know for specific stunts you get more points plus you have to chase down and tag your competitor! All this while jammin to good music and skate'in for your life.. Note: game is bloody and should not be played by the extemely young or wimpy!
The game play is very fast and you're able to follow your competitor very well. The graphics are surprisingly good considering 2 people are zipping around on the screen. We had some gory collisions and cool stunts and tons of fun. We played for 10 round and checked battery and we pleased to see little difference.
the N-gage is a fun 2 player game machine and multiplayer mode brings in a whole new level of fun and excitement to the games. I like Tony Hawks alone but Multipplayer Skate'in is AWESOME!
I hope you folks are have'in the fun I am with the N-gage!
