hi

ok i have got one question, it is not asked yet or i must have missed it while searching.

okay the size of the screen is (width x height) 176 X 208, like the games are displayed in full screen, is there anyway to watch the movie in full screen ....... i'll explain what I want to ask ......... i have got wide screen movie ........ the movie i can see in real player is in the square format, half of the screen is waisted in black areas ........ there are software while conversions you can zoom and make perfect wide screen movie ... what if I rotate the picture clockwise the size of the movie will become big.... (width x height) like 208 x 176 ........ the picture size will be bigger and much better .......

anybody has got suggestion on this ........

OR DO I HAVE TO EXPLAIN AGAIN..........

No you cant play mpeg's on and yes you can format it to play mp3's. But next time read the FAQ's thread or search the forum before posting. All these questions have been previously answered.

Hi, I posted some questions about readers....I am looking for a good reader for my Gage... Is there a version for the gage??

Yea like Ghostdog said Mobipocket and quickword and quickexcel are good ones.

I think Quick***** is still in beta testing thou. Was last time i checked (was some time ago). For more info check the series 60 multimedia forum or www.my-symbian.com

Thats makes loads more sense.

There are programs such as PV player that play in full screen mode, and others like some of the video capture softwares for the 7650 have full screen modes available, but i havent a clue how impressive the picture quality is.

The real player app that is installed on the fone wont play the video full screen if you convert it to 208x176. It either will downscale it or not play it at all.

Someone on a previous thread mentioned they rotated the video and played it full screen and the picture quality was awful, so it probably wudnt help rotating it either.

Hope this helps

thanks man

i thought i was only the genius in this pond, but some one is smarter then me ......... i guess i have to try by my own as i am gee wiz in conversions .......... but one more thing how long does the battery last for the whole movie (s) .......... as i am going to travel from paris to dubai .......... i am going to take 2 memory cards with 4 movies ........... and i dont want to say "what the ?????" in the middle of my journey ......... with the battery ........... so what you say BOSS .......

average how many movies you can play ......... as battery is the next major issue in this forum other then n-gage ..........

I managed to watch rush hour 2 twice and a couple of simpsons episodes (roughly 3.5 hours). But im gonna buy another 2 batteries when i get my next N-Gage just to be on the safe side.
