Ok, I think I just thought of an Idea to solve the contacts problem.

Softwares needed:
SE Latest Sync Program
Epocware Filemanager

Hardware
MemStick Duo 2 Pcs
P800
P900

Process
1.) Backup both phones first to make sure you have something to restore to if something goes wrong.
2) Backup the P800 duo using the backup and restore program, while doing this open filemanager by epocware, copy your contacts.cdb (its in C>system>Data>contacts.cdb ) file to your PC
3.) Do the same think with you P900 except that you will now copy your contacts.cdb from PC to your P900 while backing up the duo of the P9.
4.) Voila!

The reason why you have to do it while its backing up the duo is that its the only time the phone will allow you to edit contacts.cdb bec its not running the phone application. Im going to try this later, still backing up now! 😊

For those of you who dont know why im doing it the hardway when you can just sync with outlook and skip the nitty gritty, its because in outlook you can get the folders/categories you set. I have around 10 categories with almost a thousand contacts 😞 Dont want to go through the hassle of doing them again 😞

I've been an owner for 29 days and 4 hours now... Welcome to the P900 world.. In case you find bugs please list your revision. I haven't experienced any bugs except what I have found in the software. The "jog dial down" button does not seem to function properly with Tracker. All other buttons does execute a function except that one.. I verified that there was no physical damage to my jog dial by clicking it on other task when Tracker was not running.. I had no issues then.. But again Tracker seems to have a lot of bugs with the P900 that they can hopefully address with a revision patch.

ahhhh, i thought i recognized you from somewhere, you created a thread on esato saying you would order the p900 from SE for the price of $1500, but then you did the disappearing trick.

I hadn't posted on this forum for months before the P900 was even announced... How long do you see that I have been a member of All About?? Do a search on my name and you'll notice the last posting was in mid September. I couldn't access the site until this month so what's your point? There's a reason why I was posting somewhere else because there was no All About Symbian for me to go to. You are an Idiot because I never purchased the P900 from SE, I stated specifically where I purchased it from and the company even showed proof that they had it since Oct 21st and sold about 15 pieces that week. Moreover, I have had pics of it way before you got yours so again, what's your point? I'm still on there and have had recent posts as well so where'd I dissapear to? Why don't you have your story straight? Jealous I'm guessing. You probably had to buy your phone through contract cuz that's the only way you could get one.

The problem is your story don't jive... you state the site was down and it never was.. there are members that got pics off of me and I can give you there member names and you can personally ask them if I they did indeed receive anything.. So if you are to make a comment like that and call me an idiot just don't make a fool of yourself doing it... Unless you can provide tangible evidence don't make up a story.. At any rate, I'm sure you would have gotten a sim free phone if you could.. So admit that... I'm sure having to cover up or scratch off that dumb logo the provider slaps on the phone or not being able to switch sim cards reminds you of that. I'm sure you're gleeiming with envy that some people can indeed afford to buy their phones unlocked and sim free.

If you want to continue this dumb babble why don't you just do us all a favor and call the vendor that sells these phones and asked wether they sold any P900s on the third week of October (10-21-03). They have a direct phone line so you can talk to them personally. Once you get that answer why don't you then inform us why you think this is amusing enough to make a fool of yourself.

lol, getting it sim free is a bit pointless huh? if i could have gotten it sim free, i would have...but is there a point? ooo, let's buy a phone and use it as a paperweight, that dumb service provider logo doesn't affect the phone's capabilities whatsoever, and why would i need to switch sim cards when orange have the ovp tariffs anyway, how could i be gleeming with envy, lol, i personally don't care, but you posting to get attention...that's just sad

1.You made the accusations posted above.
2.You were wrong about what you posted above and I showed you
3.you were wrong and gave you the chance to verify it, but you answered with the usual cowardice babble.

Correction - It does discredit it when I provide you with proof for you to verify... It makes one look like a cowardly flamer when they make an accusation based on subjective knowledge, but shy away when challenged to verify the proof.... If you write that you "still don't believe something" ,but continue to neglect verifying the evidence, it makes you are a babbling idiot..

If you haven't noticed there is no talk of it on Esato any more.. There is a reason why. I provided them with the proof that they 'so required'. They had the name of the company from which it was purchase. The phone number of the company from which it was purchased. And the name of a sales rep that works in that company. After continual babble some members actually verified this information by checking with the company that sold the unit on that day... They then verified I not only had pictures which is still viewable on my site, but that the company was able to confirm the information I reported. It was that "black and white". Since then, there has been no words of it..

With that said, it does make you look foolish nk8 when you continue to babble and accuse members, but when presented with a challenge to verify the proof yourself your cheeks gets full of marbles. I'm sure members on this forum look right through you when they read your babbles and see you have done nothing to back up what you say.. Why accuse a member but then act queer when he asks you to verify the proof yourself..

It becomes very apparent that because I am presenting verifiable evidence and you babble away from it that you are simply trying to save face from looking like an idiot on this forum. The evidence is black and white.. You're not up to calling to verify anything yourself because I'm sure you've realized you've gone too deep with this. And by stating you don't know why you should call is a cowardly way to save face... We all know why you should call, but none of us really expect you to. Once you do call and get the answer over the phone it'll be pretty hard for you to swallow. But that's because you obviously won't gain anything from this, but rather lose face. It's much easier to cover it up by not following through as you are obviously doing now. Just admit that at least.. I'm not looking for an appology... But rather an admission that you "do not want to take the time to verify the proof as others have". Don't continue to be childish on here and babble about what you "don't believe" if you're not willing to verify evidence that's presented before you. Enough already..
