Bluetooth connection with 6600

Hi

I really need help in connecting my Nokia 6600 to Microtune USB bluetooth adapter using WidComm 1.3.2.7 software. I have tried it on two computers.

1). In the first computer, it worked perfectly the first time. However, I changed the settings of the serial port and it now refuses to connect. The icon in the taskbar changes its color to reflect a link but then fails. One problem is that if in the "Services", the COM port is 10, I can't set it to 10 in the "My devices" section. Tried using the Configuration wizard, I was able to select it. When I click on "Properties", it again shows a different port. I was able to connect to fax and dial-up networking.

2). On the second computer (my home), the mRoute app with Nokia PC Suite does'nt show the bluetooth COM ports, even after uninstalling / re-installing many times. Also, fax and dial-up networking works but not serial port. Help would be appreciated.

Hello Kashif,

I have the same problem with the BT-500 Acer-Stick and the same software.

The support told me, that I have to wait until software 1.4 will be coming up. This will be soon.
