Hi,

I have been trying to view a trailler which is less than 1MB file size & The phone tells me that memory is full.
Using FExplorer I have discovered that my RAM Drive is 100% utilised.

Apart from reformating the phone, can I do anything else that will clear some of the RAM Memory i.e. copy some files onto MMC.

There is also talk about an Utiliy that allows you to transfer RAM memory from phone to MMC, any one tried it?
I think it was called Rambooster or Device Manager.

Please help with my little problem.

Thanks

M

z drive has nothing to do with your ram memory, it is a read only drive just like a cd rom you cant get any data on it or delete any data, only the people in the service centre can do this with a special device. i think you just have to reboot your phone to get more ram.

about ram booster: it's not a real product, someone on the nokiafree forum was saying he has a app like this but he never proved it, he shared the app in a zip file and forgot the password😉 to unlock the sis file in the zip file, don't belive it he was just a attention seeker.

about device manager: don't know what this does i never tryed it, i let this question to another user

Hi Lars,

Thanks for the update & clarification.

I have 2MB free memory on my phone (C:\) & 60MB free on my MMC.The firmware that I am using is v3.16.

Even when I restart my phone & kill all non-essential apps I only get sound no picture. When I select pause, part of the trailler appears.
Could the formatted file be in a higher version of Real One???

Thanks

M

check your settings on real player..

Video quality = High framerate
Auto Scaling = off

That normaly clears most problems, it could also be that the bitrate of the movie is too high to play on a mobile device.

Anyway I can get the movie and I'll play it on my phone and see.
