Does anyone know anything about this or where to get it from?, I says on the website that they don't sell it. There only interested in bundling it with products, but I'm sure theres a way. It looks amazing.
I think software developers are getting greedy, some no longer sells the games to the customer directly, but to operator, portal, etc.
Some cool J2ME games are not sold directly, but through download from the operator. That way the developers get more money. i.e. operator buy in "bulk".
But this is crap for consumer. Here in my country, there are 3 operators and each allows different games to download. I can not get the ones from the other operator since it is "restricted" only to the consumer of that operator, even when I am willing to pay for it!
This is the reason why I think P2P exists: Consumer can't get what they want, even when they want to pay for it so they go to the "bootlegged" version.
I believe that Stunt Car is one of the bundled games with the P800.
Writing a 3d racing game like http://www.agbgames.com/racing.htm (on gba) or using voxels like http://www.smallrockets.com/gba/offroaders/index.htm (also gba) shouldn't be that hard i think, if i could get some artist with me ... hmm .. time to get home to do some programming i think. 😊
The first one looks like Duke Nukem 3D when running round and like Destruction Derby when driving the car. The second link reminds me of Monstertruck Madness which was a crap game.
If you think you can pull it off, get a game engine going on with some basic graphics then I think on the basis of an engine you will get graphicians lending a hand. Also if you are doing it for the 7650 why not try a 9210 ver at the same time 😉
