Anyone have a clue why it isn't? I could swear Nokia technical support told me the phone supported it just fine.
When I pop in the card and power up the phone, I enter Menu > Tools > Memory. It says "(no memory card installed)". I even went as far as buying a card reader/writer, to format the MMC card, tried both FAT and FAT32, but the phone will just not detect it.
So is there nothing else I can do? Do I have to return the card? 😞
Card brand is "extreMEmory".

Hi, be sure that the usb cable is unplugged .. If the usb cable is plugged in the Ngage the MMC card will not be recognised.

I did, why would I have the USB cable in it, in the first place, when trying out a new MMC card?
Okay, if after a restart you still do not see the MMC then you have a defect MMC or a non compatible one-1

Pasa, I got 32mb mmc card with my n-gage 😉 and many people get it 😉 and there is a game flo boarding in it 😉 well i have got 128mb card and it works for me. But my friend has got 512mb!!! and it works too. I can say 1 thing: if you buy a card over 128mb you must consult with someone will this brand of card work on n-gage.
Do you know where to get these 512 mb cards?
It would be nice if people would use the search feature from time to time.
