P800 SDK - Has Anyone Got It?

I have been trying the Ericsson "mobilityworld" website for the past 4 days and it has been up and down like a yo-yo. I managed to get access on Tuesday and found (I think) the P800 SDK (minus CodeWarrior 😃). Unfortunately I was distracted by a meeting and when I got back to my desk the site was inaccessible again. Can anyone else see the site (http://www.ericsson.com/mobilityworld) or is it just me?

Maybe they are being overwhelmed by all those lucky contestants lining up to pay $500 😃

I checked today and didn't see a free SDK. And you're right, half the time I try to visit MobilityWorld's site it is down.

And, btw, I'd just like to mention that SE's P800 app competition is the most stupid and ridiculous (and that's an understatment) competition of that type I have ever heard of!!! I have to pay THEM 500$ just to enter the competition and develop apps for THEIR phone so that THEY could sell more P800s and earn even more money!?!?!?! Yeah, that will sure get them more P800 apps... What morons... They still have a lot to learn from Nokia.

I checked today and managed to get to the site. I must have been dreaming, as I could not find anything that resembled the SDK download. All I could find of interest was the Symbian OS forum, which is totally devoid of any information from Ericsson personnel and full of people who are (justifiably) complaining about the $500 entrance fee. I also understand that SE get the rights to anything you submit as part of the competition.

It's kind of hard to work out who this is aimed at. Small independent developers don't have $500 to spend (and probably don't have access to a device), whereas larger companies wouldn't want to lose the copyright, etc. Nice one SonyEricsson, straight off on the wrong foot with your most important user group...

when looking at http://www.ericsson.com/mobilityworld/ you can read:

In the Open Zone you get free access to tools and technology from Ericsson and Sony Ericsson.

and in the open zone there is a link to symbian os and under that there is "Symbian OS 7 UIQ SDK for Sony Ericsson P800" but under that link there's nothing available (except some pdfs on codewarrior)... i wonder where the "free tools" are... or if there will be any free tools ... thats probably one of the reasons im thinking of keeping my 7650 instead of upgrading ... but if ericsson will present free tools i'd upgrade.
