Anyone else noticed that it's awfully quiet these days in the AAS fourms?, we used to get enough posts for me to come on the forum every other hour and spend ages trying to catch up, but lately i've noticed that there are only a small handful of posters left 😞
I thought with the introduction of new devices this place would be swarming.
Anyone have any insight to where everyone is (Except for My-Sy)😕

Could be a lul before the storm. With Xmas around the corner, we could have a few more members joining up!
Also not to forget the new devices that will be coming out soon, I am sure things will pick up!
Of course I could be completely wrong!

Yes, I've been having serious problems accessing the forum as well. It sometimes is a nightmare browsing and posting here, the site is just incredibly slow and unstable for me, at times. So, if more people are having such problems, that surely could be a reason for the decrease in activity.
I have troubles with it somehow getting locally stored temp internet files when I first enter, which means that everytime I enter a forum or when I first visit the index it will be from my previous visit...I have to refresh everytime I visit something, but i'm pretty sure that is down to my PC and not the forum.
I've not had any problems except that.
I find that the new format doesn't render properly in IE at work, though it doesn't effect em at home in Linux. I'm now checking once a weekish for the same amount of posts as we used to get every day.

When you say IE, is that on the Mac, as I find IE on my PC is OK with new format, but Mac IE is not.
Nope IE on the pc, looks utterly crap.
What version are you running on the PC? I am running IE Ver 6.0.2800.1106
I posted a while This Post which shows how the Mac version mucks up for me. Does it look anything like that?

Dunno what they are using at work, it's definately IE, but it's all been rebadged etc. It looks worse than that pic, imagine all the tables mis aligned and the text on top of each other. Mostly unlegible used to work fine though dunno what the problem is. Only thing in linux is that all the forum pages are off to the right of the screen, like there's 200 pixels of blank screen on the left of it.
I'll look into all of these problems when I have a bit more time.
SWitchBlade - I'll get a custom skin up at some point so you can at least use the forum at work.
I suspect you are using IE 4 or earlier. (You might be one of the 0.1 % in the logs). I think there may be a problem with IE css stuff in that version.
Server has been preety quick for me recently, but if anyone else has any problems let me know.
