I wish the new N-Gage 2 would look more like this with an inclusion of a hiding keypad to use it as a phone. I think this is what may happen when the N-Gage is redesigned.

i think this is a very futuristic design... but if ngage 2 will be like this, i think i will hold ngage in one hand and a fabric in the other. and in every second i will clean my fingerprints on it 😊

wow... i really think that this is just a protoype, and the features it has really cool... wow... the design is magnificent i think... but i still think that a very high quality cleaning fabric will be a must when it is released. i think they must include this in the standard package... 😊

Looks major cool and similar to other prototypes of up and coming game phones! The problem is they are all lacking in budget to get the product produced. Sony is the one to look out for!

okay , I checked out the site and i don't see any phone options just a game pad with a kick and not even a prototype... Looks like some artist or designer's page!

i don`t think that is a phone... i think this is a gaming console with some oher feathures, but not a phone. they put mp3 player, mpeg player, camera inside that. But it says something in the demo during the feathures showcase "SMARTSMS". maybe this device has a pager or stg inside... and i don`t think that this is a designers personal page...
I'd like to see them do the N-Gage 2 as a flip phone, like a gba sp. if not, I'd like to see it it either be shaped in a rectangle so it fits nicely in a pocket, or with a fip keypad like that nokia phone that's for writing emails and such.
the design is very similar to the design of the PSP..
so i guess the designer just modified the original concept of the PSP and change abit here and there...
i don`t think that this looks like PSP. all the handhelds lookalike a bit... but i don`t find this one looks like especially PSP. PSP is more slimmer than this. and the screen is different. tha cavities for the hands makes this one different from PSP

PSP is like a corner-smoothened rectangle. this one is fatter in all dimensions than PSP. buttons looks like PSP but as i said in the begining these are like the muts of a handheld device. ergonomic button design is a must. and this arrangemen of the buttons gives he user full control over all butons. and the joypad is a must too. and i think this one is not for pockets. as i see in the picture it is a bit big...

Same here,i don't like the fact it will be infected with winblows although using my iPAQ H3780 was a pretty good expirience except for the battery life and the constant need for restarting,crashing etc etc 😉
If the gametrac has phone functions it could be a very good product and a great competitor to the N-Gage.

I agree with you... N-Gage is now unrivalled in its own type (i think there is no other device built as both a cellular and a gaming device). but there will be others and if one of these i this GameTrack, it will be a great competitor. because in my opinion Nokia is always one step forward in the visual design of the product. and GameTrack is really looking pretty... 😊

Then there's the design of PalmOS and Pocket PC devices with a touch screen and pen. I recently got a chance to try Tapwave Zodiac (a PalmOS based PDA and a game console) which was quite impressive from technical perspective.
Check it out: http://www.tapwave.com/ . It's already available in the U.S. for about US$200-300 as 32 MB and 128 MB versions, and comes with two MMC/SD memory card slots. Both models are suitable for gaming.
I tried just a few games, but they were quite impressive thanks to large screen size and good display quality of Zodiac, and controls felt good too. But then again games listed on Tapwave website didn't convince me at all.

this is a interesting device too i think. the screen size is really great for a handheald gaming console i think. and the graphics of Stuntcar Extreme and Spy Hunter look really good to me... but i think THPS has better graphics on N-Gage.

thats sounds very good to me... and it contans really handy software included (like e-book reader, Word processor(Microsoft Word documents), scientificcalculator).
Nowadays there is a blast in the handheld market. there are lots of hybrid products coming out. phones+gamingConsoles, PDAs+gamingConsoles. I have a friend who has a DiscMan where you can play tetris on it`s screen. i don`t know what can it be next. games on contact lenses :9 maybe in future...

😊 yeah you`ve read my mind... it is a big problem for me too. there must be a feathue to disable these shortcut keys. or games can disable them. it is like the damn Windows keys on my keyboard. i hate you windws keys... 😃

Zodiac looks cool but needs more sponsoship and financial clougt from some big players or it will hit like a old brick!
