As a recent convert from Nokia, one of the features I miss is the instant access to 'profiles', i.e. sound/ringtone/vibe settings for different situations, such as Meeting, Office, Home, Nighttime etc etc.
I've not found it yet, but is there an easy way of having something similar in the P900? I know how to mute all sound, but that's usually a bit extreme, when all I want is more 'subtle' sound for when I'm in the office.
Any ideas welcome, this is all new (but good!) to me....
there is no real option to do this, as their isn't any real profiles in the p900, you could possibly attach the tones in the themes and change themes as you wish, but other than that, it'd be good money for third app developers though
Oh well. I'm surprised that S/E haven't picked up on this, but maybe it's not such a popular feature as I think it is (though everyone I work with uses it).
I guess if it was needed on the S/E a 3rd party dev would have gotten around to it by now, so I'll try the themes option, though it's still a few more presses/jog away than the single button press on the Nokias.
It's lucky the P900 has got so much else going for it in its' favour!😊
