Java Apps... How do I run them?

Can I run any java app on my communicator? Or only those made for it?

Also regarding JAVA, it is currently installed in my C drive of the communicator, can I just move it over to my d drive? In order to make room on C:?

I thought I read somewhere on how to make room in your C: drive by moving almost everything to your d:

Thanks 😊

Remember you are using Java 1.2 Personal Edition on the 9210, so anything coded in a laterversio won't run (oh andcan omeone correct me on the flavour of Java as i'm unclear as well - I think it's this one).

If the author has compiled a 9210 app in java, then it should appear in the Extras view.

If the author has coded it as a pure java app, then locate the program.class file in File Manager and select it (run it).

If it is a midlet, then you need the Applications wrapped, available from www.forum.nokia.com under the / Java / Tools section. You can then run them from in side this or directly clicking the .jar file.
