P900 or SPV E200

Hmm, they are not even comparable. Compare the SPV to a Series 60 phone. Even then it's inferior.

I've just come from the SPV E100 to the P900, and so I obviously think the P9 is better (otherwise I wouldn't be here)...

The SPV series have a few issues, not least of which (for me) were these:
(1) Only sync'ing with the default contacts, calendar in your Outlook. No sync at all with Exchange Public Folders
(2) Unreliability. This is what finally did it for me. I can handle waiting 60 seconds for the phone to start, but if it then hangs and you have to reboot again and again it gets kinda frustrating.
(3) Battery life. If you're a heavy user it probably wont last the day out. My P900 doesn't get a real pounding but it lasts 3-4 days.

Out of the box the P9 does everything that I spent �100 on software for the SPV to make it do... if you see what I mean

If you want a reasoned argument on it check out www.modaco.com - they're obviously biased towards the SPVs, but most of them there are honest about the issues.

Hehehe, no kidding! That JPZR person is even famous on this forum for trying to spread his M$ propaganda, and insulting AAS members. So much so, that we eventually had to ban him.

His "news" site is so full of untrue information that it's not even funny anymore... 🙄

Raven,i don't think you know this.I while ago JPZR worked for Nokia and was PRO Symbian and he had writen loads of PRO Symbian posts on AAS.When he quit or was fired by Nokia he did a massive delete of his posts on AAS.

Hassan, having just returned my SPV E200 to Orange and paying out another �150.00 (on top of my returned �100) I can onl;y advise you to remain as far away from the SPV E200 as you possibly can.

The handsets are from different universes and are not in my opinion comparable, a short trawl of Modaco should illustrate the difficulties with the E200, but bear in mind that it my experience that some of the more damning posts do disappear; I've yet to work out where they go to.
