Individual message tones.

I dont have the answer but you ahve a very good point most people communicate by text and I think ringtones are mostly being disabled nowadays...with preference to vibrate...

That�s it I�m abandoning Nokia. I really wonder what kind of people they have beta testing their phones. Someone must have mentioned it to them as quite a useful and easy to implement feature. 😞

I am sure its the case of fat people in expensive suits deciding whether a person who buys that phone will want that feature or if it will make them more money - there is so much paperwork with all these new products they probably cant be bothered.

If it's like the 7650, why not assign your contacts to groups to which you can add a different ringtone to each group.

i.e. You could have the folowwing:-

• Family Group that plays We Are Family (Sister Sledge)
• Friends Group that plays Friends theme
• Boss Group that Plays a Police Siren
