D-LINK BT-120 and Nokia PC Suite

Hey everyone,

I've been trying to get Nokia's PC-Suite to work with my BT-120 adapter for nearly 2 months. The d-link software itself seems to work. I can send files from pc to phone and also back.
But after installing the nokia software (new version from nokia homepage!!) the m-router doesn`t show any bluetooth com-ports. So I'm not able to configure the pc-suite software.
I'm using WIN XP Home the latest driver from d-link and latest firmware on my 7650.
Is there any idea how to handle this problem or maybe a way to synchronize with MS Outlook without using pc-suite?

Thanks in advance.

Not much hekp, I know, but I'm using a DLink BT-120 on my PC and PC Suite works perfectly. Have you tried updating the bluetooth drivers with the latest stack (I think it's the widcomm stack)?

thanks bassey,
it's more helpful than than the support of d-link and nokia.
i tried 1.2.2.15 1.3.2.7 and 1.4 from widcomm. same results.

meanwhile i also tried pc suite for the 3650 just to see if its mrouter reacts the same. strangely he finds "bluetooth port com500" but it did'nt work either.

after de-installing, registry-cleaning and installing pc-suite for 7650 again it always finds com port "COM500". it confuses me ...

do you also use xp-home?

No, I'm still on Win ME.

From memory (and it was a while ago), I selected all of the ports in the mrouter and then tried to establish a serial connection whilst keeping an eye on the ports. Obviously it fails, then the 7650 tries to establish a connection, at which point you can see one of the ports trying to connect. Then, I quickly disabled all of them appart from the one being activated (actually, the first time I forgot to diactivate the others and then wondered why my modem no longer worked!).
