Flip on or off?

There was a huge amount of talk on this for the P800...what do you think for the P900?

How do you use yours?
What is the predictive text like using the virtual keypad?
Does the screen get really mucky?

Thoughts??

I believe that most people would keep their flip on now with their P900. The flip is electronic and much sturdier then the P800s. It is much easier to text now using this flip. Just my .02 cents 😊

Fair point...I would just like to know if anyone has used the P900 with flip off bfore I get my screwdriver out...

i use my p900 with the flip off, mainly because i use ogg player a lot and it doesn't support the flip closed mode at the moment as it only covers about a third of the screen leaving a huge blank bit inbetween, but also because i have my daily planner on handy day view, and with the flip closed, i can't just get it out of my pocket and then quickly look at what i have arranged next, i'd have to open the flip, then go to handy day which takes a bit longer, not much i know but it's just a bit less convenient, i put my flip on again last night just to see how it was again as i took it off as soon as i got it, i like the neon blue backlight on the keypad but i don't like the way the space button is the hash key, it was easier on nokia's where the space button was the 0 key, oh yeah, when watching videos, and when tilting the phone to the side to watch it in full screen mode, the key pad does get in the way a little and it doesn't look as 😎

Flip on, much better!...flip on the P800 was at best....crap, electronic one is much better, actually works.

Well I finally managed to get the flip off and I think it looks great...only frustration is how to end a call when in another application...anyone know??

in the bottom left hand corner, it'll have a call icon, (a telephone button), click on it, then go to "view" or "end call"

I was flip off for P800, but the '900 is definitely flip on.
It looks much cooler, and the T9 is a joy to use -- now I can reply to messages whilst walking down the street again, whereas I used to have to duck into a doorway, scribble furtively, then proceed.

Have any of you that say kkep it on actually tried it with the flip off??

I agree it looks way better than the P800 with flip on, but having now had the flip off for a few days, I reckon it looks and works much better...
