CSocket/CDescriptor OPX and Series60

Hello everybody,

i'm working on OPL for Series 60 (see previous thread), and i wonder if somebody has already tried to compile the CSocket and CDescriptor OPXs (there's a link on symbian's pages) for Series60?
I'm trying to because i need using sockets, but CDescriptor compilation don't unfold without errors... This OPX has been written to ER5 so...

If somebody has an idea, feedbacks are welcome...

These were third party OPX's. You'd have to get in touch with the orignal autho and ask for source code. Certainly though wveryone on the OPL-Dev project knows we need internet access at some point in the near future!

The C++ source code for CDescriptor, CSocket etc has been made available by Keith Walker, the author, at:

http://www.starship.freeserve.co.uk/downloads.html#CFile

I have corresponded a bit with Keith in the past. If you like to engage in porting these OPXs to Series 60 and/or Series 80, I am sure, without yet having contacted him specifically about this, that we could obtain his support.
