decided to post in here seeing as its way more livelier than gaming section. (this isn't breaking warez rules is it?)Anyway here you go:

http://www.harmonicode.com/EMame/

He admits most games are quite slow, but i still think its quite useful. Probably won't work on 3650 and 7650 though becasue of memory difficulties.

This is a direct port of the p8/900 version, and over 1000 games are supported. I've tried it and i think its pretty cool, but not as good as the c64 or gb emus because most games are way too slow.

i think lots of people are waiting for this... because i saw some questions about mame emu for N-Gage in forums. i will try it. i think after some time it will be better and faster.

yah finally, mame's been ported on the ngage!!

i've already been using it on my n-gage, but have to warn everybody that it still has LOTS of bugs....seems to crash a lot and when it does the best thing to do is re-set your phone ie turn it off then back on since if you don't every other game you try to run will give you an error and crash....also, i can't get most roms to load 😞

there's a long list of roms that it recognizes, but only the real small and simple games; no cool games like metal slug or final fight....hmmm, hopefully soon...i'm sure the ngage could handle games like those....

as far as where to get roms....hmmm, are we allowed to post that here?? well if so, just ask and ye shall receive.....
😉

You can't post roms here.I noticed that some version of the same game are not recognized by EMame but are recognized on PC,IE: I have two versions of 1942,one shows up in the scan, one doesn't

Like the 'N-Gage games - Good/Bad?' thread, lets post what roms work and a rating for each one.
Let 5 = Outstanding/Amazin! and 0 = Just plain $hite!

Saves times having to test each rom, if you already know which ones work.

OMG - I'm away for the weekend and come back to this. YAH!

So far haven't got much to work:

1942
Frogger
Bombjack - no sound
Galaxian
Mr. Do!

Anyone else have any luck?

Early days yet though. I wonder what the maximum rom size the N-Gage can support?

Pix.

good thing you asked.....i spoke to Staffan (the guy who wrote emame for the n-gage) and the only games supported and can ONLY be supported (due to cpu compatablilty, etc...) are the games listed for emame under the list "all games" option.....that means no Metal Slug, Super Street Fighter, Final Fight, etc..... oh well...

😡

Excuse me... i get the Emame program on to my phone and now i find out that you cant get roms for it? HOW THE HECK do you get roms for something if no one is "ALLOWED" to tell you where to get them?!!?!?!?!?!?!? plz give me a real answer to this: WHERE DO YOU GET ROMS FROM?
