Iam currently using orange as my isp but they are closing their service, anyone know of any FREE service providers?

Thats the first I've heard of orange removing their ISP.
I also use Tesco.net which works fine with my 9210.

Hmmmm, that sounds odd since their service is really quite good.

Are you sure you aren't mixing up with Vodafone for there are rumours galore about them and Vizzavi?

NOOOOOOOOOOO! Orange can't close their ISP, I use it (if only for my e-mail) and I was hoping at some point (probs when www is more common on phones) that they would modify it so you could get unmetered mobile access by paying a bit extra on your bill.

Trust me orange are closing their isp.My friend tried to set up his new 9210 for internet access and registered with orange internet, when he clicked on the 'set up isp' option in the 'my profiles' section he was greeted with a page saying that the isp is closing and a link to freeserve as an alternative.

Oh dear, and Orange charged less for access to their ISP - since they have strange charges for 0845 type number (something about them not coming out of free minutes, or more expensive than normal numbers).

Maybe its a move to get people to adopt GPRS. I'm suprised The register hasn't picked up on this. Maybe you could drop them a line - they'd have an interesting take on the matter.
