I went out and got myself an n-gage yesterday, i'm loving it so far.... thanks to all you guys and girls out there is this forum you helped make the transition from my old Nokia 8210....
...Which brings me to my question! I have a Car and USB charger for my 8210, will they both be suitable to charge my n-gage?
I don't want to plug them into my n-gage, only to find a smouldering heap of plastic and electronic mess in a couple hours time...hehe 😃
I searched the forum and couldn't find anything... so any help is appreciated!

i think both will work with your n-gage too. because the charging devices are same for 8210 and n-gage (except shapes). i have a 8210 too and i charged my n-gage with my 8210 charger many times. i had no problem.
you said you don`t prefer but you can plug and try that if they are working 😊 . if they are not competible, n-gage just will not charge. i don`t think anything will happen...

Both your 8210 chargers will work with the N-Gage. You probably find thou that they take longer to charge the phone, because of the difference in battery types.

Well, the good news is my car charger works but as you said SAbz911, i think it take a little longer..
Bad news is that the USB charger does not work, my n-gage just says "Not Charging" .. oh well not all was lost 😉
its your charger, not your phone. basically its not putting enough juice to charge it. i have 2 USB chargers, and only one of mine work. so i know that there are some out there that will work.
yeah... i sorta figured it was the charger as opposed to my [nG], but it's good to know there are USB charger out there for it that work... If you have the details/link of where you got your USB charger that worked, could i have it please?
Or can anybody recommend anywhere i could get a USB charger for my [nG] that they know works?
the one i got was $2 on ebay, and i just got lucky. sorry i couldn't help
