Ngage ruined my MMC beware

Just to let you know,

i seen this before in the forum (which i learned after the fact), but this should be repeated!!

do not record from the radio, my MMC is now corrupt! i tried formatting it loads. i can get the phone, and Fexplorer to read it fine, it just does not show on my computer.

i can get all my other MMC's to show on the computer, but not that one, which really sucks, just wasted a 128mb MMC. and i bought it online from a company in the states, so it will be a pain in the ass to try to extange it.

anyone know if there is a way to fix???

have you tried formatting it on the computer and the phone? If so, when you format on computer do you format to FAT and not FAT32? Lastly, my mmc did the same thing and still won't appear on my computer, it just says removable drive but i just click on it and it comes up (winxp). Failing all this, try and format it from a digital camera-most shops like dixons let you do this (they do it for you)

i will try to go to dixons tomarrow.

it doesn't even show up as a drive on winxp, so there is now way i can format it from there.

the phone shows the connection icon when its plugged in, but there is nothing on the comp!!!

After using the Card reader/writer just have to say its much better that using the usb thru the N-gage. its atleast twice as fast, and if you are switching mem cards you do not have to swap them in your phone (turn off and on)

well it seems to work now, must of been a rainy day or something. i hate unexplainable crap like that! thanks all

My N-Gage doesn't record radio on the 128 mmc only the 64 mmc
