HI!...
I just want to share with you all people this...
Finally we can get an option to make good videos
for our smart phones ...
Yep!.. QuickTime 6.4 Pro ... has it all!!!
Support Encoding for 3gp format 😃
So now we can convert any know video format
(with or without audio) to 3gp and see it on our
6600 😃 , and/or record some 3gp on 6600 and see it
on the PC (QuickTime 6.4 player (FREE) ) ... Then
you can mix some of your recorded 3gp with any video you
have on the pc.. and make even slide show (pictures)
mixed with video and export all that like one 3gp video 😃
Here you can see more info about it, and is not too much cost:
The QuickTime 6.4 (FREE) upgrade to PRO is only $29
http://www.apple.com/mpeg4/3gpp/
and is amazing all the formats that support for import and export,
so it's a good app not only for 6600 but the PC too and very usefull
see the formats that support:
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/products/qt/specifications.html
I'll get that and finally i will have good videos on my 6600 MMC card 😃

What are the pro's against nokia multimedia video conversion software?
HI!...
I am ready to ROCK!!! 😃 ... this is my first 3gp encoded
video using QuickTime Pro 6.4 ... (excellent app!!) ... so easy
to use...
Here you can Donwload this nice 3D animation made it
by Pictorys Inc. for GreyWorldWide Company...
it's a short 3D animation that won on the last Animation Festival
And is nice to use this like a gift on a girlfriend Mobile for
example 😃
Hope you all like it!
Donwload here: http://www.modelosv.com/6600/Birthday.zip
Then unzip that and send to your phone...
The video will be player by the default video player app ...

Hey all,
Why not use something like Helix Producer to make Real Media video files?
I was under the impression that RM files are better than 3ggp?
Also the 6600 and 3650 already have Real Media player installed so this is a bonus.
I have made a couple of videos using Helix and the quality is very good.
I will say that until you get the right settings, or ones that the phone is happy to play, they can be very jerky.
But after a little playing around and asking others what settings they've used I feel I have found a good compromise between quality and smooth flowing video.

RealVideo is good ...
But!... on realplayer you can play only videos with low stream
bit rate ... compare this...
Mobile RealVideo:
176 x 144 10fps 80 kbits... (for local play)
176 x 144 7.5fps 20kbits (for streaming play)
3GP Video format:
On 3gp you can choose the bit rate from low to a hi quality,
the videos posted here are on low bit rate and low res...
so..
options:
128 x 96 or
176 x 144 (from 1 to 15fps!!!) (from 1 to 160kbits!!!)
So... who is better? 😉
RealVideo was made it thinking on STREAMING Video, and
may be work better for that, on PC it does...
but 3gp is for MMS and local playing and anything else 😃
The 3gp is a default video format, the bonus is that
Real Player is installed on 6600/3650 ... but that is not the
standard format on smart phones.. or 3G... the standard
is 3gp... so if you want to send by MMS to anyone
a video, in order to get more secure about that person really will see the video... send it on 3gp format...
I stay with 3gp...

When I try to covsert a movie in .mpg format that has sound, the sound is lost in the transformation. Whats wrong?
HI!..
i think that there are some movies (mpg) that has an
unknown audio codec for the converter... or is a copy protection
for some material...
I notice that too on some mpg movies, is not easy to solve that..
I first convert that mpg to an uncompressed AVI format
(Video codec: NONE, Audio: UNCOMPRESSED) then i use
that AVI to convert to 3gp... then it works...
hope this help you too...
