advice on non-symbian handsets

Hola. i need some tech advice on 2 phones i am looking at getting.
It is a toss up between the Samsung e700 (which just looks stunning) and the SE T610 which has more features, mostly bluetooth being the one i would use.

I see it as this from reviews i have read
SE has less memory than the e700
SE is reportedly slower
SE has a worse screen (?)
SE has a bad camera.

Can anyone confirm if any of what i have read is true?

Downsides for the samsung i can think of are:
No Bluetooth
No USB (IR only)
more expensive.

Also if anyone has the e700 on Vodaphone (i can get it on there for 70 with a 15 a month contract) is it unlocked? i would love to be able to use my current o2 sim in there still....

Many Thanks

Kyuro

T610 is better phone in general (in my opinion). To be honest you should decide on what you want to do with your phone then spend as much as possible to get the best possible phone to meet your needs, regardless of looks and all that bol lox.

Vodaphone contract should mean it is unlocked however there is an easy unlock code that MAY work for E700 - no guarantees (PM me for details).

ooh! i don't even remember writing this today! hahahaha

yeah i was thinking about it when i was meant to be working. I think the samsung will be the choice to make personally (and i already know the magical code lol but thanks 😊)

why don't you try the SE z600? basically it's just the t610 in a clamshell and style up covers. Samsung is nice... but I cannot imagine having a phone with no Bluetooth anymore!

My suggestion is wait for SE z1010... it's coming out next year around january. It's a clamshell phone but you can now insert a memory stick duo and it has video capability 😊 I think it would be great... hopefully, the camera would be better compared to the t610.

i just looked at the z600 and really i still prefer the samsung, the z600 is cheaper by far, but the camera is the same as the T610 (and some have reported in reviews that the quality is worse) i might take a look at some of the other phones available....
