The ring seems to have put it's toll on Sir Frodo on the 6600..?!
Does anybody know if this great C64 emulator going to be 6600 compatible anytime soon?
Will the king return? Press play on tape...
Frodo
Yes i play 050 frodo on my 6600
And works fine exept from quiting program sometimes entering the menu
New FrodoS60 v.0.51 is now available on my home page: www.mbnet.fi/~haviital
It has been tested on N3650, N3660, N-Gage, and N6600, but it
should work on all S60 devices on the market.
New features:
- Landscape mode 208x176
- "Smoothed" screen modes
- Assembler optimized screen drawing
- Works also in 16 bit color devices (e.g. N6600)
- 1541 emulation mode for greater compatibility
- More settings: emulation speed, 1541 emulation, etc.
- More shortcuts: Audio on/off, change joystick, screen mode, etc.
- When audio is enabled, emulation speed is automatically limited to 100%
- N-Gage optimized keymap is copied automatically during installing
Regards,
Hannu
Is there a way to remap the 3650 keyboard in order to play games? For example, some games use A/S keys for left/right which cannot be changed. On a phone, such games are useless.
Vik, did you look at what's on Hannu's Frodo home page at all? If not, please do so as the answer is right there in the section titled "Downloads for S60".

Yes, I saw those alternative keymaps, but they are just joystick replacements.
My question was how do I make custom maps? As I said, I would like to map "A"(left) to 5, "S"(right) to 6, etc.
That's mentioned in the FAQ: http://koti.mbnet.fi/~haviital/Frodo/FRODO_FAQ.TXT (see the section "A1: How make an own keyboard layout?"😉.
