Anyone have a problem with Quicksheet messing up edited Excel files?
I edited a file on the phone, dragged it to my desktop, opened it with Excel, but the contents just look like XML and not how the sheet should look.
Am I being dense, or is this a problem with my version of Office ( Excel 2000 9.0.4402 SR-1) or what?
Any ideas?
I belive (wouldn't swear to it) that QuickOffice is only fully compatible with Office XP and above as it uses XML. I have the same problem trying to read QuickWord documents on Office 97 at work.
Thankfully, I have Office XP at home so I use that to read the files and then save them in legacy format to send to my work machine.
That would make sense of the results, but doesn't seem like a very sensible choice on their part...
I'll look into, but I haven't found any relevant info on their site yet
