This is an interesting problem!!
The P900 has voice dialing using Magic words. Set up a magic word and turn on voice dialing and all you have to do is say the Magic word and then say the name of the caller you want to call.
You need to set up each caller with a recorded name!
The feature works well and is very accurate!
My issue is however that when connected to a bluetooth headset, and I dial out either from the speed dial or from contacts, it goes through the Bluetooth headset, however if I use voice activated dialing, it does not!
Anyone tried this?
If i'm understanding your issue correctly: That's because Magic word is not intended to be used with the use of a BT headset... That is the way ALL SE phones have worked since the T68 really put light to the feature...If you need to voice dial through your BT headset you need to activate your BT headset by manually pressing a button on the headset and wait for the phone to respond to your command...
I have to press a button in both of those BT headsets pictured below before I can use voice command... So there really isn't truly a "total handsfree" voice dialing feature with any phone and BT headset.
