im from aus and i have a a920,

i got it from 3 a few days ago , and i must say not a bad little phone . cept for the whole lock down of softwere n so forth

but i have a different question 😊

i got a 32 meg card with it . but i would like more memory and make it easyer to get mp3's on and off so can i use any memory card . * cf card or what eva they call em * the same style card. ?
or do i have to use one from 3' ?

also . if i buy a card reader. will i be able to view the file system and dump mp3's / pictures n so forth on it ?!?!

thanks in advance 😊

No,you don't have to use 3's card, you can use any SD card(not CF) i think.

And yes, with a SD card reader you can manage the card's file system on your PC.

As for the locking thing, aren't 3 offering a firmware upgrade in your country or something?

ahh cool be going out tomorrow now to buy a reader and a new card w00t make putting mp3's on the phone easyer LoL

as go's for the firmware update im not 100% i do know they are unlocking the bluetooth which will be quite handy but i doubt they are going to lower there * closed garden * outlook on there network,

i didnt know any of this till after i signed up . but at the same time. the phone does everything i want it to do . and on the most part im not to fussed on installing lots of stuff on it 😊

thanks for ur help! mucho thanko ! 😃

Doesn't the A920 come with an USB cable? If it does then you don't have to buy a card reader, you can use the USB cable to transfer data to the phone.

yeah it comes with the desktop software and the usb cable but it shits me 😊 software is buggy on my phone for transfering lage files. so i thought just grab a more reliabul reader and use it :P
