I have tried searching the forums for this already but with no joy, so here we go: I have recently downloaded the cracked camcorder software for p800 and now a few days later the battery is having a fit. It won�t last more than a day (and I mean in standby mode, with the screen off). Has anyone else had this problem or is it just my phone having an episode?

1st of all there is no official working camcorder app for P800, which means the app you installed is only a beta (or maybe even just alpha). This camcorder app you have installed, has this known problem whereby it drains your battery very fast. When not in use, you should make sure that you exit from it, don't let it idle in the background.
by the way, crack/warez are a NO-NO in this forum.

and what is this app? just wondering as i have looking for one but without any joy
it's somthing like a video camera software, as u can record up to 9 seconds but without voice.
this software was developed by Philips and it somehow got distributed illegaly as it was only a beta software, and it also got hacked!
that's what I know about it.. dono if it's all correct, but it's sure not available on this site😃
and as mentioned above, it drains battery like hell
