How do I back up Notes?

4 replies · 1,652 views · Started 08 December 2003

I've asked this b4 but got no response so I hope some kind soul catches on to this and helps me out: I'm staring to collect all sorts of info in Notes. How do I back up just Notes, what is the file extension for Notes, where is the default location it's saved in?

Cheers

You'll find all the desktop items including notes in: Communicator\System\favourites. They all have extention .lnk. Any changes made to that folder show on desktop but only after reboot (or force kill Desk app. by doing Shift+Ctrl+Chr+K)

neat trick!
tnx for the tip...
but quick question???
wc notes r u refering to?
The Desk Note?
or the Notes software (archive lyk?)?

Desktop notes. The program Notes should have user files in default Documents folder or in System/Programs/Notes folder.

I think he means the Prg "Notes" (9210_notes.sis, 46.0 KB) from

(More Software, expand the capabilities of your Nokia 9210 Communicator with more software...)

The data base is stored in D:\Documents\
Its name is only "notes", no extension.
