It's nice to make THEMEs now...
But i really MISS SmartLauncher (from Symbianware)
because there you can asign NEW ICONS for ANY APPLICATION .. not only the default system apps .. but thirdth party apps too
So i can use the icon of the Camera on Photographer too for
example...
Or Change that HORRIBLE Opera icon by the IExplorer icon or any other... etc...
So... too bad that SmarthLauncher don't work on 6600, because the combination of both (SmartLauncher and themes) would be really nice ...

How you make THEMEs now...
hi!
i make themes using Photoshop and Theme Editor ...
The longest part of the work is to make the icons
and masks... but all the other stuff are easy ...
And if you use icons from other themes
that you has installed you don't need to make the icons..
Just EDIT theme and on option ICONS put the icons of theme theme you want.. for example i like que combination of using the WindowXP Theme for 6600 (free to download on themes6600.tk) out there, and combin with THEME 1 or 3 from default nokia themes.. that make a lot of difference just by changing that flat icons 😉

I have Theme Editor but its DEMO!!!!
It is possible to change the icon of the 3rd-party application if you download the Symbian 6.1 (maybe 7.0s but I've only tried 6.1) SDK.
Nokia have thier own Theme Creator out now which is better than Theme Editor

I am new here and I love your themes. 😉
I am also using Photoshop and Theme Editor and the later is really SLOW..... 😞
Is there any chance you could share some of your icons and masks? I am also making some themes and making icons and masks is really a pain.
The thruth is the all companies are making few efforts to make their products compatible with new Symbian 7.0 OS.So is symbiamware that should release some kind of add-on for 6600 themes.
Alejandro, AFAIK the latest version of SmartLauncher runs on 6600.
