6600 and video limitations

Does anybody have news about magical software able to recording more than 10 s video and sound on 6600?

I heard this was due to limitation of firmware 7 ... it has been developped by stupid guys or what ???

I think its more to do with keeping the video size <100k so you can send them via MMS its the same with 6.1

yeah but the thing is I heard that an MMS has to be 75kb or less yet the video it creates is about 95 - what does this mean?

Size of MMS varies from network to network, usually 10 secs will be around 100k which is at the uppermost limit of most networks.

The time limit has nothing to do with the firmware or OS of the phone, the P900 has unlimited recording with sound & a "message video" option which limits the size of the video, I guess Nokia just wanted to keep the networks happy.

Video recording is after all (IMO anyway) just a niche thing to make more money for network providers.

I think it's just a matter of time until software is released that will allow unlimited recording. (Suprised it doesn't exist already).

By now you can use

ETI Cam Recorder...

any amount of memory you want...

But with no sound by now...

I am sure that they will release a 6600 versin soon

not 6600 limitatios.. Software only..

cya!
