Call diverting, network selection and call waiting are all present and working in Tools - Settings but I dont get the spool symbol when I get an answerphone message...

Does anyone have theirs working? Ive missed five messages in the last week... 😞

I work for orange and orange have taken call divert off the network so that is why you cant find it in your menu.

Because if they aint got it on the network then there is no point in having it on the phone. orange mess about with the software when they get the phones and that is why. if you got any more questions i will be happy to answer them.😃

Ok your the first phone trainer i've had the chance to chat with.

I often think that the phone trainers are the last in the que in terms of information from Orange.

I've chatted to a few Phone trainers in the shops and they are all decent people...however i do feel they are a little pushy in selling you a phone.

Not sure what stance your manager / you take in people buying phones and offering support.

150 is free from the handset but you have to go through loads of options then wait on hold just to speak to someone and 151 is 10p per min but it gets you stright through to cust serv to speak to someone. hope that helps.

Surprise and Surprise Call Divert is working on my 7210 :roll:

They only disable the menus on PAYG.... Call Divert and Call Waiting are standard network features and orange HAVE NOT removed them. They are key contract features and are mentioned both in the manual and as standard features for Orange Contract holders.

FACT all the Menus do is pass GSM codes over the network.

Go to the main Screen and key in one of the codes and send

*21*07989123456# - Divert All Calls to 07989123456
#21# - Cancel Divert
*#21# - Check Divert

*61*07989123456*seconds# - Divert On No Answer to 07989123456
#61# - Cancel Divert
*#61# - Check Divert

*62*07989123456# - Divert On Not Available
#62# - Cancel Divert
*#62# - Check Divert

*67*07989123456# - Divert All Calls when busy to number
#67# - Cancel Divert
*#67# - Check Divert

##002# - Cancel all barrings

CALL WAITING

I got my 6600 from the Orange store at Bluewater... Now that I think about it it did NOT have call waiting & divert on the menu when I got it but I did a *#7370# format and they were on the options afterwards...

Still no spool symbol though... Hey and I didnt get Opera with it... 😞

Just got my 6600 from an Orange shop. Spool appears when I get a voice message, but missing call divert / waiting etc menus. Also can't seem to uninstall Orange Backup and Update once they are installed!

No copy of Opera, I've got a download from www.opera.com, but need to get it onto the phone somehow...

And why does putting in peoples birthday's in contacts NOT create an anniversary on the calendar? My 7110 did that!

Why have Orange decided to throw away the nice Nokia set of try and buy apps? The 32MB MMC seems to only have Orange stuff on it.

Still, nice phone, definitely a smile on my face after having put up with an SPV for over a year!

I recently bought a Sim Free 6600 inorder to use with my current Orange Sim.

And have noted I don't receive the Ans Phone Spool icon either. Customer services refreshed their side a couple of times, till eventually telling me that it was a phone fault & there is nothing they can do about it!

Does anyone here have a solution for me to try pls?😕
