I've been lstenng to some musc on the 6600 recently because my passat's radio is down.
anyway listenin to wav files the 6600 music capabilities is quite good.I am pretty happy with the quality and personally couldn't find much diffrence between mp3 and wav files.

OVERALL:I am happy with music on the 6600.

WAV files will not differ in quality (Unless you change the bitrate) to an MP3, but they are HUGE files!!!!, that is the major downside to them when compared to MP3.

When you are listening to them, you mean through the loudspeaker?...6600 doesn't have stereo playback does it?

Nah it doesn't, but still, I'm getting one soon 😃

Comparing to radio it might be good, but when you come to MP3, forget it! Unless your listening to a 30MB song 😃 (Also sucks on the 6600).

lol!...

OK.. get a 512meg MMC mem and you can
hold there almost a complete CD on WAV files.. lol! 😃

that's what i call a damn good MEM SPACE on a phone lol! 😃

lol! A lot of MP3 can be holded there ..

hehe!

cya!
