no speaker sound in composer — Nokia N-Gage and N-Gage QD

I unpacked my new N-gage yesterday, and already had a lot of fun with it! But:

Somehow, the music composer app plays trough the phone and not trough the speaker. In the options menu of the composer i can not find any output options in order to select the speaker.The musicplayer and the radiotuner however function properly and in the options menu i can activate the speaker for those applications and that works fine, so i guess no hardware malfunctioning.

The strange thing is.... the composer performed perfectly through the speaker yesterday, but now it only plays through the "phone"

Did some neceserally file got lost?? and if so how do i recover lost system parts?, or is it an option i overlooked (newbie here).

You installed any apps to it yet? some like wildskins have tended to affect the phone for loads of people, so try removing some apps first, otherwise maybe the best thing is a hard reset!

mmm 1 game installed, just removed problem still remains....

hard reset: how do i do that??

PLug ya charger into the phone and type *#7370#

If it asks for a security code itll most likely be 12345

OK, but all presets will get lost also i guess?. And what about my sms inbox (because it contains mesages with presets) will these get lost also? in a hard reset??
