I'm planning to buy a 9210(i) soon because I just lost my 6510 (stolen)...I'm wondering if there are any such applications for this communicator?
My priority apps for this platform are:
Dictionary
Bible
Database (relational)
E-books
HTML reader/editor
Programming (on the device itself, aka NS/Basic)
I currently use a PPC so this apps are readily on hand but I'd like to have the convenience of carrying only one device with me most of the time...

Relational Database,not sure, but POWERBASE and SMALLBASE are flat files with good linking between databases, if no fully relational.
Ebooks, Web Browser (for HTML reading), and the Bible would all be covered by either TOMBRAIDER (www.propora.com) or SImon Quinn's EBook (URL anyone?). Both allow you to roll your own books using MakeDocW or TomeRadier on Windows, so finding a copy of King James Biblein .txt to convert should be easy.

Not really sure on the others but as for a Bible, I found the World English Bible (each book in sepperate HTML files) did the job fine. The KJV (which is the only version without copyrights etc) is the only version legally distributable online for free, unfortunately he KJV does my head in half the time and so the WEB is another translation into common English that has been aimed to be freely distributable. Can be found at http://eBible.org/bible/web although I don't think it's 100% finished yet, still.
True, but using an EBook Reader gives you specific searching functions, bookmarks, easier to read, faster loading times (important), you can compress the file by about 50% (very important), and yuo use less of the running memory (bloody important on a 9210!
yeah that Bible fills 7.15MB on my MMC, I could compress it in Mobipocket Publisher, but hadn't thought of that yet *slaps forehead*
Switch, I'd try EBook from SImon Quinn or EBookReader from Paragon (Epocware) and a search for MakeDocW for the compression tool. Both are much better than MobiPocket. I've used them for buckets of texts, (inc. some Carl Sagan novels and the infamos Harry Potter).

Maybe if enough people e-mailed [irl=http://www.laridian.com]Laridian[/url], they'd release their excellent PocketBible for Symbian devices? I mean, it works on a Palm so the 9210 should handle it without a problem.

In my Welsh school, we were called 'Criw Duw' which is effectively 'The God Squad'.
I had no idea any religion still had so many interrested people in europe.
