Here's my suggestion, why don't you just forget about an mp3 player and go for OGGPLAY that plays .ogg files. It also plays in mono but the sound quality is better plus the file size is about a half the size of an mp3 file.

Does the player comes with encoder to .ogg files?

Mp3player from Viking Informatics supports BT headset and has equalizer.

I have the MP3 player from viking, and while it's very good it doesn't work very well with the Nokia HDD-1 headphones. Everytime I fast foward, pause or change track it will play music through the speaker as well as the headphones. I have to remove the jack plug each time to correct the problem...

Might give UltraMP3 a spin..

I agree the quality doesn't seem quite as good. I also like the pre-amp and equalizer. I've just email viking and they weren't able to re-create the problem. They recommended a firmware upgrade.. Mine doesn't shut down though.

im just about to test the viking player with a bluetooth headset. Shame its a bit expensive but if it works properly and i dont have any problems ill be happy to buy it. Does the viking player play ogg files as well??, i want to get the best quality with the least amount of disk space and bluetooth support, what does everyone recommend?

I've tried 3 different players now and all have had their issues. I'm quite partial to the viking version so far.. But hey, you can try before you buy.. Make the most of it.

Ultra MP3 is good, but it just doesn't sound quite as good and the fast forward is a bit pants.

MP3Gravity, looks nice, but for some reason didn't have a FF function despite the pictures of showing it did. And with Gravity the music files need to be stored in the gallery, where as the others will find the files anywhere.

Viking, there's just the issue mentioned in the prev posts. Great customer service though. I emailed them, they got back to me within 10mins. I've been waiting over a month for a reply and two days from Lonely Cat who make UltraMP3..

I starting to wonder if I should have just bought a MP3 player and just used my phone for some of what it was intended for. Bear in mind that the sound is mono..

I'm using Oggplay on my 7650 but when i want to listen throw HDD-1 headset it plays the music on it but it plays it on the loudspeaker too... I want an ogg or mp3 player wich is small and plays the audio throw headset without playing the sound on the loudspeaker... wich program i should use?

When bluetoothing mp3s to the 6620 does anyone know how to set it up so they go into the memory card and not the phone memory? i can't seem to move my mp3s out of the inbox anywhere other than "my folder"

wyclef you should use Fexplore to move your mp3s from C:\System\Mail to your memory card in E:\... its realy simple to use this explorer but it took a lot of time finding and moving mp3s one-by-one... you can find fexlplore for free everywhere on the google...

Also, if someone could explain to me how to manage and navigate files and directories in Fexplore that woul dbe great. I cant seem to find anything i've installed or know how to move it and i want to be pretty meticulous about what i put on the phone and remove things i dont want.
