😮 You can use Quickoffice software which consist two programs, World and Excell, and buy it from Handango.com or going directly to www.quickoffice.com/uiq. I use that program and until now I am satisfied with it.

Best Regard😊

it's a good program, although it doesn't give u all the Excel features, and it might screw up some of your excel files..

anyway as tigernet said it's still the best one for now

What version of QuickOffice and MS Office do you guys use?

I have QO 1.2 and MS Office 2000, but Excel files I edit on the phone are not readable on the PC.

Do you folks use Office XP, or is there some neat trick I'm missing?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think QO is incompatible with Office 2000.

if you have a more modern version of microsoft office though, you can just save as an older version of the file and so it'll be recognized in the end, however, it might make your file size bigger though

That would seem about right, but we have no plans to go to XP at work yet.

Word files are OK, they can be read and edited on both the phone and the PC afterwards (although you do lose some formatting).

Not sure if this is relevant (can't test as I'm using Office 2003), but quickoffice's website states:

"Saves edited Excel files as *.xls files, compatible with Excel XP; Excel 97 & 2000 require free add-in"

Oh yeah, somehow I never noticed that!

Anyone have a copy of the add-in cos I can't find a link on their site?
