Hi all,
Just got my 6600, its cool! But got some questions 😞
1. How do i add shortcuts to the "Go to" section?
2. How to launch the programs that I had install from the "Manager". I first transfer the sis file to my phone memory>Installation&Java files folder, then on the phone use "Manager" to install it. Then HOW to LAUNCH?
Thanks!
1. not all applications can be added....that go to feature is pretty useless in my opinion.
2. if you install an application, its icon should appear in the menu. if not, then restart the phone, it should be there. if that still does not work, install seleq and navigate to the install directory and run the program manually.
HI!..
To me GO TO function is not use less at all..
i installed "APP MAN" (short app)... it is an excellent app that
tell you all about the apps running, process running, mem used, etc.. it's like the task manager of WinXP (that one that appear when you press Ctrl + Alt + Delete, to see apps and kill some process) ..
this APP MAN app can see ALL THE APPS installed on the phone, even the ROM apps that came on 6600/7650/3650/N-Gage, and you has the option to ADD TO FAVORITIES (GO TO LIST) 😃 .. then finally the GO TO function is useful 😃 ... i assing many frequently use apps to that list and i put a soft button with GO TO and it's a really shortcut to launch many things 😃
