Do any of you guys know of Java has access to the Bluetooth radio on the P900? I know it has MIDP 2.0, but did they implement the JSR-82 Java spec? (I know this is C++ forum, but thought somebody might know). Also, does the S-E T610 have MIDP 2.0 (off topic)?
Thanks in advanced.
The Sony Ericsson P900 whitepaper lists JSR-82 (and JSR-120), when it describes the J2ME CLDC/MIDP 2.0 features of the phone.
The Sony Ericsson P900 J2ME SDK has a couple of bluetooth sample apps included in the zip file.

I'll check it out ... thank you. If any of you guys do anything with Java/Bluetooth, let me know as I'll be interested to see how it works (if you have problems, etc...).

hi!
i have a sony ericsson bluetooth kit. what i need to do is use my bluetooth enabled nokia mobile to discover this bluetooth kit if its in the vicinity of the mobile. the mobile works on Symbian hence supports the JSR82 for bluetooth but my kit does not have the higher stacks like L2CAP. it only has the HCI level.
can u please help me in this.
