hello guys

i need a mobile phone which is able to communicat with the internal data interface trough a java midlet.
It's possible to communicate via a pc and phone with remote s60 for nokia's 7650/3650.
Is it possible to program a file explorer for the mobile phone, connect the phone to the pc and seek the pcs harddisk?
Could it work with the siemens sl45i?

Sorry for my bloody bad english, i'm a german with simple school english knowlege.

HI...
What you could do is to use an FTP-Software for your Phone...
(760, 3650, Ngage or an 6600)
(I guess someone like Ghost-Dog can provide a link)

(When you got more questions, just write an PM to me, I can also speak a little German... if this helps... *g*)

I don't think there is a software that allows the phone to browse the PC's HDD except maybe Bemused with a little tweaking. The idea is that you add all file extension that you need in bemused server and your HDD path in the file library also in bemuse server.

i don't want to use bemused or a ftp explorer, mainly it's my aim to connect a serial data cable to the phone, and communicate over the pins with the connected hardware. a mate lookin for it, he wants to connect barcode scanner with it. my thought was it firstly trying to communicate with a pc. he told something about a motorola, which is able to do that...
