i've been thinking about getting a 6600 as my new phone.
* i like the feature set
* i like that it has expandable memory
* good reports on the screen quality
* i found a pretty good deal
went into a few phone shops today and played with the 'demo' phones. the keypad seems really poor (buttons don't have a firm response to being pushed - seem spongy) and it's also very squashed together. i can accept that the quality / feel may be due to it being a demo unit but would appreciate any user comments? the fact that it is squashed together is really disappointing because that's one of the reasons i didn't get on with the T610 and that actually seems more spread out.
so does anyone have any suggestions for 'comparable' phones (i realise it's a fairly small group but just in case i've missed anything)? oh and the P800 / 900 are out I can't afford the 900 and they are both a bit too bulky for me.

dude 6600 is wht u need man for sure it rocks. p900 u cant compare its 300$ more man. overall i like the 6600 screw the stereo part of it.

I've not noticed a problem with the keypad.
The buttons are close together, but I would not say that it hinders the use of the phone.
If you want a new phone NOW then 6600 is the way to go in my opinion - if you can wait till Jan/Feb next year then you might want to look at the Sendo-X.

Yeah Sendo X or the Siemens SX1 which is released this month in Germany. It will be avaialble by Jan04 in Europe. It has all the features +Mp3+Fm Radio (both stereo). It has a different keypad design though- which some may not like😊

when you use and hold the 6600 on your hands for
a few minutes you will se that all are stupid rumors,
from people that like to talk shit about Nokia, don't know why...
may be are the same people that hate Microsoft or something like that, are people who simple like to go against and attack the big companies, it's like a kind of religion lol! 😃
