Have you tried the freeware opensource C64 emulator called Frodo?
Frodo is very god, but sometimes when i make sound off while playing the game speed goes crazy and i gots very fast... and sometimes while playing with sounds it become very slow, and it won`t be ok until i make sound off. anyway it is still a very good app. 😊
