Ive got a few questions to do with moderating etc. Im still learning, so dont shout if im asking basic questions 😃
1) Is there anyway to read the PM people are sending? I know it said in the terms and conditions that it was a possibility. Im just rather suspicious that alot of people are asking for warez etc. via the PM system.
2) Am i sposed to ask someone before i delete, move or changed a post or thread?

1: In the old PHP board it was possible for Administrators to check PM's, in the new one this feature isn't available.
2: If you feel it's worth moving/deleting then by all means do it...if your unsure ask another moderator/admin for a 2nd opinion.

I do keep an eye on PM by looking in the mysql database occasioanlly. Its not too bad but I do send the odd warning out.
Feel free to use your own judegment on moving changing etc. Same goes for deletion though hopefully that should be rare-ish, Often locking the thread and leaving a note saying why is the best course.
Course if you want a 2nd opinion just ask.

Are you sure that's okay to do? No DPA problems?
Yeah there probably is a legal issue and I should probably get some advice. As it happens I haven't done this for a while. Uusually a qucik search by keyword on backing up. It is stated in the fourms rules as well iirc
