I bought a 128MB card for my N-Gage (Veritech brand I think) and loaded music and movies onto it and all went well for a few weeks. Then I started getting music player errors which could sometimes be fixed by rebooting the phone. Now the phone says no card inserted and the PC doesn't show any storage space when the phone is connected by the USB cable.
The card has 12 month warranty but can I assume that the phone didn't damage the card. I don't see how solid state memory could be corrupted beyond formattable repair by the phone but I just wanted to check before I return the card.
Thanks.
Could my N-Gage have knackered my MMC?
probably this card is not complaint with your phone. well, at least thats one probablity. make sure your mmc connectors is properly attached too
if you have another card reader (not the ngage) format the card from there. same happened to me, this fixed it
