Wap ?!?!?

What is the difference between WAP and normal internet (eg: the pc) ?
I`ve never seen WAP Before... - no i`m not a caveman - and yes i`m older than 2 year old 😃
So is there any difference ?

wap is pretty rubbish-it can't display real websites and costs quite a lot. Its also slow at 9.6kb/s or 50 odd kb/s if you have gprs. Its not much of a substitue for the real thing, but you can get apps like opera to display the real web on your phone.

no, wap is not rabbish!
if you have gprs, its faster than 9kb!!

and there are a lot of good colour sites that u can view.

So with the right software and the wap connection I can see on my N-Gage THE REAL WEB (like on pc?) ?!?! THIS would be GREAT !! Please answear this, tis very important.. and if it is possible give me all the details about it 😃

depends on the network
here in greece the IPs for wap is locked from another usage
(u have to specify the correct IP to connect)
with some tricks there is a solve for here.
i dont think that is easy to do that to another country
