Are Themes really worth it?

I mean yeah they look good some of them but ultimately they slow the phone down a helluva lot and things like themes are just gimmicks which most with this sort of phone wouldnt compromise effieciency of the phone for. I think people creating themes are doing a good thing as there is going to be a huge market for it when it reachers the 3 series phones and basically the consumer market

Any True computer user knows the importance of not having a background image on his windows machine or a screensaver on his server, so why wouldnt you do the same on the phone.

any thoughts...?

oh really thats quite good to hear - now all I have to do is install another partition with Windows 2000 on!!!

you don't need windows 2000 to run Nokia Theme Editor...if you use windows XP then try to set compatibility for exe installation file to windows 2000 and run it....it works fine for me

well my eXperience with nokia's theme editor on, both, XP Pro as well as Home Ed was discouraging...i go through to the end of extraction phase but thats where it ends...I did change compatibility to windows 2000 with no luck.

well...good luck!
