i know the rules of this forum, but i am very helpless as i have tried visiting and searching for forums regarding living about life in U.K.
Please this topic is not at all related to n-gage section. Please someone tell me the forum address because currently i am living in U.A.E. and for further studies i am planning to go to U.K. and i want to know the expenses and details about U.K. living.

what sort of things did you want to know?Cost of food, living,what? It is a fairly expnsive place if you live in the south east (where i live), but there are good schools/unis (don't know if you want universities for further learning). However, the further north you go, the cheaper it gets. Newcastle and places like that are the cheapest (i think).
Jaybaddass, do you know hills road college or long road college in cambridge?Cos i'm thinking of going there, and i want to know if they're half decent.

I was going to write a massive reply but i've decided against it.
I'll just say that the above (IMO anyway) isn't true, Central London is an expensive place to live, but as for the rest of the country house prices etc vary from county to county and different areas of different cities....north/south doesn't make too much difference...you can buy flats in Leeds (Which is North) for over a million pounds, and get same sized places cheaper in the south.
What ever you do don't go to Retford. Its a boom town and prices are through the roof.
