I have a weird problem with my PC Suite 1.2.0, even the same problem with the older ones. I have a dongle IR port that goes the to the USB port.
Well the problem is that the PC Suite doesn't find the phone but mRouter does which I think is abit weird 😱
I'm loosing my nerves with this dang thing! lol!
I have exactly the same problem with my BT dongle.
The club nokia was not able to find any solution.
Try going into the morouter properties and uninstalling your BT serial port (usually com4) a then just put the tick back in again to reinstall the com port and reauthorise the connection.

Not for me... I tried hundredth times...
I have the same problem, I have paired my 7650, I have connected the serial port, I have selected the connected port in mRouter, but when I start PC Suite, it asks me to connect my device.
In the Change Device screen in mRouter, my device is not listed, that's the problem I guess....
Nothing in the change device screen for me too.
In the mRouter, right click and in Properties, tick ALL the connections with bluetooth on for the coms.
Then start the PC Suite!!

Had exactly the same with my IR dongle.
Here's how to fix (xp and 2k):
Reboot PC (resets all ir settings etc).
Go to control panel -> dbl click on Wireless Link
Hardware tab -> click Properties
Advanced tab -> highlight Infra-red Tranciever Type -> change Value to something other than default.
My default is SigmaTel 4012, changing to SigmaTel 4000 fixed it perfectly.

I had the same problem, (mrouter connects without a problem but PC Suite doesn't see it)
I hunted the problem down to my antivirus program, when my antivirus (Panda Titanium) program is installed I have the problem, when I uninstall the antivirus pc suite connects and works fine. I have informed Panda Software about this problem and they are looking for a fix.
